Pietas is a technology platform. We take a small fee for the software and for handling payments; licensed partners carry out the regulated work, such as DBS checks and nanny placements.

Questions
Can we cancel at any time?
That is the intention: monthly plans with no lock-in and no sign-up fee. Final terms are to be confirmed.
What does the fee pay for?
The software, payment handling and the people who review enquiries. We take a small fee on bookings and payments that go through Pietas; we do not charge tutors commission.
Who carries out the checks?
Licensed partners carry out DBS, reference and registration checks. Pietas is a technology service and does not carry out regulated checks itself.
Is help with funded hours free?
Yes. Guidance on the 15 and 30 hours schemes and Tax-Free Childcare is free for families. Eligibility is decided by the government.
