About Pietas
Named for the Roman virtue of care for family.
Pietas meant duty and devotion to the people who depend on you. We built the service around one idea from the first book of Marcus Aurelius's Meditations: everyone we become, we learn from someone.

Seneca put it in five words: “men learn while they teach” (Moral Letters 7.8, trans. Gummere, 1917). We look for carers and tutors who still feel that way.

Pietas, built on Vertical Reef
Pietas (draft brand) is a new childcare and tutoring service based in Fulham, London. Finding good childcare and tutoring takes too much searching, phoning and paperwork. Our software does that work, and people stay in charge of every decision about safety.
What we will not do
We will not claim an endorsement we do not have, publish a review we cannot verify, or quote a figure we cannot source.
